Meet Our Staff
Alicia Gailliot
Alicia is a native Virginian, born and raised in beautiful Old Town Alexandria, and has been in the dental field for the last 20 years and has extensive knowledge of dental office management and dental insurance.
Her extensive experience in all areas of dentistry helps her in understanding patients concerns and questions. She is available to assist the patients with setting up financial arrangements and submit insurance claims, scheduling appointments, billing and any other questions that they might have related to the office and dental care.
She takes great pride in her work and makes sure that patients have a wonderful experience from the moment they step in our practice. At home she enjoys relaxing with her two kitties Simon and Theodore, and loves spending time with her nieces and nephews. In her spare time she enjoys playing three different musical instruments, including the flute, piccolo and piano.
Joan Isenberg
Joan has worked as a dental hygienist for the last 25 years. She strongly believes in educating patients to take simple precautions and measures to achieve optimum dental health themselves. Once patients understand their individual needs we can work with them as a team to improve their dental health. We also try to incorporate patient’s medical history in order to help us determine the most advantageous treatment they will need.
The most rewarding part of her work is getting to know the patients, whether through general conversations or discussions related to treatment. In our office we are especially sensitive to those who have some anxious feelings about dentistry and strive to provide a friendly and comfortable setting with pillows, warm blankets, and patients own choice of music to make their visit enjoyable.
In her leisure time she likes gardening, reading and traveling with her family.
Victoria Carlo
Victoria is lovingly called “Vicky” by her colleagues and friends. She has been in the dental profession since 1998 and brings a vast amount of dental knowledge to our practice from dental office management to actual Dental Assisting. Along with the rest of our staff she strives to make sure every patient’s experience is as pleasant as possible and they leave with a lovely smile. She enjoys meeting new people and learning about their dental needs so that we can provide them with the best service.
She is passionate about her work and when not with a patient she utilizes her time learning about new techniques in dentistry and helping our office implement the new information and advance technology to better serve our patients. Her goal is to make patients feel comfortable and relaxed and achieve optimum dental health.
She loves spending time with her friends and family and enjoys traveling, swimming and dancing.
Laila T. Fazelyar
Laila is a certified dental assistant proficient in most aspects of dentistry and in the latest technologies and procedures. She is also a certified X-ray technician. In addition to her professional dental experience, she has 11 years experience in customer service and office management. She very much enjoys working in our caring team environment, and brining smiles to patients’ faces.
She believes dentistry is immensely rewarding and takes great satisfaction in helping patients with their needs and making their experience a great one. She works continuously to stay abreast of all the new advancements in the dental field by taking many continuing education courses.
She loves spending time with her family and enjoys running and playing tennis.
